PRESS RELEASE: ShoreTel® announced the continued success of ShoreTel Connect™ with new medical and education customer wins, Cape Medical Supply and Pennsylvania State Education Association.

Cape Medical Supply has a busy call center in multiple locations. They selected ShoreTel Connect CLOUD for its scalability and upgradability to ensure investment protection, as well as extensive reporting tools and the ability to integrate email and chat into the agent’s queue. The Connect CLOUD solution allows Cape Medical Supply to get insights on how the system performs in real time, identify heavy call times and more effectively reallocate resources. Cape Medical Supply also relies on ShoreTel Mobility to improve communications for employees on the go, and uses ShoreTel Scribe for email transcription.

Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA) selected ShoreTel Connect ONSITE for its centralized management from a single web dashboard, four-digit dialing, and call routing customization. The new system will enable PSEA to save upwards of $25,000 annually by eliminating third-party support. PSEA has 14 offices across Pennsylvania that serve 180,000 members and several hundred employees.
“With ShoreTel it’s easy to make all moves/adds/deletes/changes right from my desktop. We’re also saving money since we can dial other offices or employees directly with a four-digit extension,” said Doug Good, IT support coordinator at PSEA. “Using ShoreTel Connect ONSITE is like stepping out of a horse and buggy and onto the space shuttle.”
PSEA also provides telephony services to tenants that rent space in PSEA-owned buildings. They have decided to rollout ShoreTel Connect CLOUD to these tenants.
