West’s Unified Communications Services Hires New Sales Leader

West’s Unified Communications Services, a global provider of communication and network infrastructure services announced that Kim McLachlan has joined their leadership team as its new Senior Vice President of Sales for its voice, networks and contact center lines of business. In this role, McLachlan will drive revenue growth through a national network of leading resellers, VARs and a direct sales team.

As she begins this new role, McLachlan brings with her over 20 years of telecommunications experience and expertise. She is a long-time West veteran, previously responsible for sales of the company’s conferencing solutions in the eastern United States, driving much of the firm’s growth and success in the highly competitive conferencing space.

“Kim’s leadership is critical to the growth of West’s unified communications solutions and to executing against our strategy from a go-to-market perspective,” said West’s Senior Vice President Randy McGraw who leads the company’s global UC, hosted telephony and contact center teams. “Her experience in enterprise technology sales makes her a solid fit in serving our enterprise and midsize business clients. I am confident in Kim’s ability to execute on the company’s near-term opportunities and strategic priorities as the newest member of the leadership team.”

McLachlan will lead West’s direct and channel sales teams for North America, building on her team’s considerable success in driving adoption of West’s broad UC portfolio into the marketplace. In addition to its longstanding VoiceMaxx CE cloud-based PBX offer, West is among the vanguard in offering Cisco Spark with Spark Call and Hybrid Voice options available, creating new opportunities to reach out to smaller organizations in the sub-150 employee category. McLachlan’s teams will also drive further expansion of West’s contact center solutions, including Cloud Contact Pro, designed for small to mid-sized high performance contact centers supporting inbound and/or outbound call flows.
