CX Company appoints Michiel Buitelaar as CEO

As of 1st September, Michiel Buitelaar is CEO of CX Company. Dirk Jan Dokman (co-founder) will assume the position of Chief Commercial Officer. Jaap van Gent (co-founder) will step down from the executive board and assume the position of member of the Supervisory Board. Jeroen Brouwers (cofounder) will remain in his positon as Chief Technology Officer.

This change in the executive leadership team of CX Company is the result of careful consideration of many factors across the business. The impact of CX Company’s high growth strategy, the pace of and demand for technological advancement in Artificial Intelligence and expected market dynamics, and the leadership needs of the company all played a part in this decision. The three co-founders reached the conclusion that this requires additional competences to be brought into the leadership of the business.

The founders are proud to have found Michiel Buitelaar to strengthen the leadership team with his vast experience in high growth, high-paced digital and technology-driven, international organisations.

With this new addition to the team, Jaap van Gent expressed the desire to pursue additional ventures and professional ambitions outside of CX Company. As a result, he has chosen to resign from the daily management responsibilities as CCO. He remains actively involved with the company’s future as member of the Supervisory Board, who welcomes his experience. Dirk Jan Dokman will assume the role of Chief Commercial Officer, where his heart and strengths lie. Jeroen Brouwers will continue as CTO of the company.
