Red Box Recorders expands executive team in a move to strengthen focus on core channel business

Red Box Recorders, a leader in communications capture technology, is boosting its executive support in line with increasing demand and the continued growth of its global reseller channel. This will provide additional and dedicated focus on Red Box Recorders’ core channel business, extending reseller support, as well as on product strategy and global partnership development.

Martyn Ward will join the company as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Pete Ellis will be the new Chief Product Officer (CPO).

Martyn Ward has extensive senior commercial and operational experience across a broad range of business environments including start-up, turnaround and large US-based corporations, including running the global operations of FTSE 250 engineering software business, AVEVA. He will provide additional and dedicated focus on sales in the Red Box’s core channel business and reseller base, being responsible for driving performance across all Global Channel Sales activities.

Pete Ellis has been part of the Red Box executive team for more than two years. He was previously Chief Architect at Avaya, responsible for designing telephony and contact centres for many of the world’s largest banks. He then led several of Dimension Data’s European business units and, more recently, was MD of O2’s ICT and digital business, running service provider and cloud strategy. Ellis will work on the development of overall product strategy and global partnerships.

Richard Stevenson, Red Box CEO, says, “Our global channel is our core route to market and this investment in our executive team provides additional focus and support for our resellers while continuing to develop and provide a product and partner ecosystem that drives our continued and mutual growth.”
