Daisy Group, the UK’s largest independent provider of business communications, IT and cloud services, has signed an agreement with the UK’s leading provider of fresh prepared food, Bakkavor.

London-headquartered Bakkavor, which supplies UK major grocery retailers with fresh meals, salads, dessert, pizza and bread has signed with Daisy to deliver a range of business communications and IT services including the Mitel MiCloud solution. This will bring Bakkavor’s business VOIP communications and collaboration platform into the Mitel cloud for better mobility, simplicity and reliability. It also marks Mitel’s largest UK cloud deal to date.

The multi-year contract includes hardware and Daisy providing dedicated professional service support to implement and maintain the system across Bakkavor’s 23 sites in the UK.

For Bakkavor, it will mean an intelligent, integrated contact centre service to improve customer engagement, as well as a Unified Communication and Collaboration (UC&C) solution. UC&C integrates SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) telephony, mobile, instant messaging, video conferencing and apps on any device and will give teams at Bakkavor the tools to collaborate simply and effectively to improve productivity.
