LiveOps Inc., the global leader in cloud contact centre and customer service solutions announced the opening of a local data centre to better serve the needs of its growing Australian and New Zealand customer base and partner network. The data centre is located in Sydney, NSW.
LiveOps lets brands engage in real-time interactions with customers across multiple channels, including voice, email, web chat, social and SMS. The company has more than 300 customers around the globe and counts Symantec, Amway and ADT amongst its 65 customers in Australia and New Zealand.
Marty Beard, chairman and CEO of LiveOps, said, the opening of a new data centre will support LiveOps’ rapid growth plans in the local market, as well as provide customers with high-speed access to the cloud-based network.
“LiveOps has achieved tremendous growth in Australia and New Zealand over the last year and we’re pleased to open a local data centre which will ensure that LiveOps has the right infrastructure to maintain this expansion.”
Research released by Frost & Sullivan into the cloud based contact centre market in its Australian Contact Centre Market 2013 indicates that “over 60 percent of organisations are likely to evaluate or deploy cloud based solutions in the next two years.”
According to Kristen Pimpini, Managing Director, ANZ for LiveOps, the company has a very strong pipeline of both customers and partners interested in realising the tremendous opportunities LiveOps can deliver.
“There is enormous demand right now for multichannel cloud contact centre solutions like LiveOps. Companies are looking for help to better manage their own customer relationships across increasingly fragmented but important channels,” Pimpini said.
Social networks, web chat and other digital channels have changed everything, but companies are looking for a 24/7, 360-degree view across all of their customer contacts,” she said.
“LiveOps’ new Sydney data centre will open up whole new industries of potential customers because it offers improved performance and addresses data sovereignty issues. Large customer-centric enterprises in financial services, utilities, logistics and government have welcomed our data centre investment, and we look forward to bringing on new customers in these areas.
“The launch of the Sydney data centre now adds an extra layer of assurance to LiveOps’ existing multinational, as well as regional Australia and New Zealand customers, ensuring that they have continuous high-speed and secure access to our cloud-based voice and data network, regardless of their physical location or the time of the day.
“And of course this investment brings our technology footprint closer to out partners, whether they are telecommunications companies, systems integrators or professional services firms,” Pimpini said.
