PRESS RELEASE: Nextiva, a leading provider of cloud-based business communications, announced that its mobile and desktop app has been revamped to offer dozens of new features and enhancements.
Updates were made to both the desktop and mobile versions of the app. Desktop users can now configure panel buttons, make calls without opening additional windows, embed a dial pad into main windows, and exercise enhanced control over volume functions. The Nextiva App for Android now has improved Bluetooth support, call park support, and the addition of a local contacts list and extension information. iPhone users now have improved call initiation and contact integration, a call duration timer for video calls, call recording support, and improved call quality under adverse descriptions.
More than 100 enhancements were applied to the upgraded app.
“Our customers gave us plenty of feedback after we released the initial Nextiva App,” says Josh Lesavoy, Nextiva’s CIO. “We took that insight into consideration when planning this round of updates. We want the Nextiva App to be as user friendly for our customers as possible.”
Originally launched in January, the Nextiva App combines voice, video, and chat into a single platform accessible from the computer, tablet, or mobile phone. The application is supported on Windows, Mac OSX, iOS, and Android and was designed to allow users the ability to make business more mobile and flexible, while staying connected from anywhere. The app is compatible with Nextiva Office Pro and Enterprise plans.
