Serco shortlisted for seven more industry awards as innovation and value for money hit the mark

PRESS RELEASE: Serco, the international service company, is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for seven awards at the 2014 National Outsourcing Association’s (NOA) annual awards. This adds to the company’s recent successes at the CCA Excellence Awards where it has also been shortlisted for seven awards.

Now in its eleventh year, the NOA Awards recognise and celebrate the efforts of companies who have demonstrated best practice in outsourcing. They are recognised as the outsourcing industry’s leading event and reward innovation by suppliers, buyers and advisors, and are now firmly established as the awards all outsourcers want to win.

Serco’s nomination successes include both public and private sector contracts from its BPO business. Recognised for a wide range of achievements from its innovative use of web chat to its far-reaching service transformation and development programmes, Serco’s success demonstrates the depth of its capability.

Richard Holland, Serco’s Managing Director for Private Sector BPO, said, ‘We are obviously delighted to have been recognised by two separate organisations for our innovative approach to outsourcing and customer experience management. These nominations, along with our recent award wins at this year’s Digital Experience Awards clearly highlight our innovative, flexible and outcome driven approach which is setting new standards in customer experience management.’

Sean Hanson, Managing Director of Serco’s Public Sector BPO business adds, ‘Innovation and strong partnership values really are bringing significant benefits, value for money and improved services for our customers. I am delighted that continued high performance levels and efficiencies, across a wide range of our services for councils, have been recognised in these nominations and we are immensely proud of the teams’ achievements.’

National Outsourcing Association CEO Kerry Hallard said, “We have a received a record number of submissions for this year’s awards and the quality of entry was extremely impressive. Just to be shortlisted in this year’s awards really is a great achievement. It’s set to be a very exciting Awards ceremony this November, with such strong submissions from across the industry.”
