PRESS RELEASE: Following success in last year’s award presentations, members of Serco’s team in Bolton have once again been shortlisted in two categories of the 2014 North West Contact Centre Awards organised by the CallNorthWest network.
Leading by example and harnessing his extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, Stuart Staveley has played a central role in boosting customer experience and service levels for the company’s contract with the Department for Work and Pensions’ Child Maintenance Group (CMG). As a result of his tireless efforts and achievements, Stuart has now been short-listed for the Contact Centre Manager of the Year award.
And the company’s Change and Innovation Unit is still on course to retain the Support Team of the Year award which it received in 2013. Continued success over the past 12 months has seen the team deliver target outcomes way ahead of schedule as well as exceeding all operational targets and client expectations.
“Stuart and every member of the Change and Innovation team deserve huge credit for what they have achieved over the past year,” says Garry Robinson, Head of Serco’s Central Government team. “They have truly set an excellent example for others and their skill and commitment has not only made a real difference to our work for the Child Maintenance Group, but also to the lives of the many parents and children we support through our service.”
The judges of the Awards programme will now be visiting Serco’s CMG Contact Centre in Bolton over the coming weeks to interview the finalists in advance of the 2014 gala dinner and award presentation at the Palace Hotel in Manchester in October. Through the support of the University of Central Lancashire and its members, CallNorthWest has become one of the largest regional networks of contact centres in the UK with a membership that continues to grow year on year. Its annual awards programme features stringent evaluation procedures and has become one of the country’s most respected award schemes in this highly competitive and progressive industry.
