Sitel creates more than 300 jobs in Coventry

PRESS RELEASE: Sitel, one of the world’s leading outsourcing providers of customer experience management, today unveiled plans to open a new site in Coventry to add to its nationwide network of contact centres.

The new contact centre is expected to create more than 300 jobs over the next six months and could add over 600 by the end of 2015. Opened to provide support for new business wins and the expansion of existing contracts, the new Coventry site was chosen to capitalise on the city’s highly skilled workforce and for its proximity to existing Sitel premises.

Karl Brough, Regional Director for the UK and Nordics at Sitel, commented: “We are seeing a great demand for outsourcing services and are delighted to be creating jobs in a new location. The new site allows us to leverage the expertise we have built up in our Stratford site and will ensure consistency and quality of service for our clients.”

Sitel has 56,000 employees in 23 countries and manages support functions for a number of global and local brands with the UK providing outsourced customer service strategies for many of today’s leading brands and public sector bodies.
