LeadDesk raises €5.5 million in Series A funding

PRESS RELEASE: LeadDesk, the Finnish SaaS company serving the European call center industry, has raised €5.5 million in its first round of funding led by Dawn Capital with participation from Finnish Industry Investment in order to drive new market growth. LeadDesk was founded in 2010, has offices in eight countries, and is the Nordic market leader for outbound call center software.

LeadDesk is a true cloud-based SaaS platform designed by salespeople for salespeople to close more deals over the phone. LeadDesk customers are internal and outsourced call centers, as well as buyers of call center services – covering all industry verticals. LeadDesk is currently focused on the European outbound market, which has approximately one million contact center agents. LeadDesk’s first investment round will help drive LeadDesk’s continued growth in European markets with particular focus on UK/Ireland, Spain, and the Benelux region. The company outperforms key SaaS industry benchmarks and is on track to becoming the industry standard contact center platform.
