PRESS RELEASE: The Civica Group, a market leader in business-critical software applications, digital solutions and outsourcing services, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Chris Doutney as Managing Director of its newly launched Civica Digital business.

Doutney, who joined the business in January, now leads Civica’s dedicated digital division which comprises more than 800 employees. He will focus on the growth and development of Civica Digital, building on its broad expertise and capability to address the significant opportunity to help customers transform services and improve lives through digital technology and automation.

Chris is a proven leader with more than 25 years of experience with a number of major technology and consulting companies in the UK, including CSC, Fujitsu and EY. He was previously vice president of public sector for CSC and headed the central government business at Fujitsu. He commented: “Civica Digital provides a complete capability to deliver a new generation of digital services from concept to implementation, with a strong track record of supporting 500 customers.
