According to the report, “Gartner has seen traction increase in midsize enterprises (100 to 1,000 employees), with increasing average user commitments.” The guide also states that “compliance coverage varies between providers and is an important differentiator,” noting standards such as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA; including Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health [HITECH]), International Organization for Standardization (ISO; including 9001 and 27001) and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
