Hyperoptic, the UK’s leading alternative full-fibre broadband provider, announces the appointment of two seasoned professionals to key positions within its customer service leadership team.
Mark Davidson has joined as Customer Experience & Service Director, while Igor Sabljak has taken on the role of Head of Customer Service.
Mark brings over 25 years of experience working for brands such as Meta, Virgin Media and most recently WebHelp. With a proven track record of driving customer satisfaction and operational excellence, Mark will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall customer experience at Hyperoptic. His strategic vision and commitment to customer-centric practices align seamlessly with Hyperoptic’s mission to provide world-class service to its growing customer base.

Igor Sabljak, the newly appointed Head of Customer Service, joining from sports retail company Sports Vision Group, has extensive experience in managing large customer service operations. With a focus on driving efficiency, implementing innovative solutions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, Igor is poised to elevate Hyperoptic’s customer service to new heights.

Hyperoptic was the first gigabit broadband provider in the UK, connecting Prices Court in Wandsworth, London in October 2011, when the average UK broadband speed at the time was just 6.8Mbit/s. Our network now passes more than 1.4 million homes, and we have more than 300,000 customers. We offer consumers and businesses gigabit-capable broadband with a top average (median) speed of 900Mbps, which is more than 18x faster than the UK average (median) speed.
We work with property owners, developers and other partners, designing and installing dedicated fibre infrastructure to new buildings and existing developments. We focus exclusively on high density urban areas.
Hyperoptic was named Best Broadband Provider by Uswitch in 2023, and Best Consumer ISP (above 250k customers) at the 2023 ISPA Awards, thanks to the combination of strong commercial performance and a customer-centric approach that maintains high NPS and high Trustpilot scores.
In June 2023, Hyperoptic began patronships with The Prince’s Trust in the UK and with SOS Children’s Villages in Serbia, supporting disadvantaged children in its two home countries.
