Senior appointment at Parseq, after a successful 2017

Business process outsourcer Parseq has strengthened its Finance and Administration arm with the appointment of Jenny Dearman as head of operations.

Reporting directly into Parseq’s managing director of Finance and Administration, Craig Naylor-Smith, Jenny will have overall operational responsibility for the division.

Based in Rotherham, she will lead a team of 171 delivering industry-leading document management and payment processing services to the company’s domestic and international client base.

Jenny, who brings 27 years of experience to the role, replaces long standing Parseq team member Judith Forbes, who is retiring after working for the BPO in South Yorkshire for the last 30 years.

In 2017, Parseq’s Finance & Administration division processed over 25 million customer correspondences and was nominated in the ‘Company of the Year’ and ‘BPO/Outsourcing/Bureau Business of the Year’ categories at the 2017 Document Manager Awards.

Commenting on her appointment, Jenny said: “Our Finance and Administration division has had another fantastic year in 2017, which is testament to our exceptional track record in delivering great value for our clients’ businesses and our ability to innovate and adapt to their evolving needs.

“I’m looking forward to using my new responsibilities to continue to expand our offering, building on the achievements Judith oversaw during her impressive tenure with the business.”

Craig Naylor-Smith, added: “Jenny joined us in 2014 and quickly established herself as an integral component of the Finance and Administration team’s success. She is the perfect candidate for the role and I’m confident the division’s upward trajectory will continue under her management.

“She steps into a position held by one of our longest serving colleagues, Judith. Judith has left an indelible mark on the business and will be sorely missed.

“This year 23 people in our Finance and Administration division celebrated service milestones, racking up a combined 315 years with the business in total. It’s an achievement that should be celebrated and makes me very proud of the environment and opportunities we provide our people.”

Parseq employs 2,000 across five sites in the UK, with international partnerships extending across six continents. In addition to its Finance and Administration capabilities, which handles over £15bn in electronic payments every year, the company also provides advanced Contact Centre services, processing over 70 million calls annually.
