The NHST Media Group Enables Real-time Global Collaboration with Fuze

Fuze, the leading cloud-based communications solution provider for the modern global enterprise, has been selected by The NHST Media Group, Norway’s leading business publisher, to deliver an organization-wide communications platform as part of its new digital transformation strategy. Fuze will power voice and collaboration for the news provider’s team of journalists and employees working across eight global offices.

The Fuze Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) platform will give NHST real-time, seamless communication to simplify and improve the quality of service for employees and journalists, who depend on reliable communication to secure stories in today’s competitive digital media landscape. Fuze will also allow NHST’s dispersed editorial team to collaborate on breaking news and feature stories for its business, financial and trade publications, which include: Intrafish Media, Tradewinds, Upstream, and Recharge.

Phase one of the Fuze roll-out will include offices across Seattle, Houston, Stamford, New Orleans, London, Bristol, Singapore and Hong Kong moving from individual, on-premise PBX systems to Fuze’s fully featured cloud communications platform. Fuze will deliver immediate savings on call costs of up to 30 percent and bring predictable costs for budgeting through fixed monthly pricing and a single global invoice.

“Deploying Fuze is a critical part of our broader strategy for digital transformation,” explains Svenn Larsen, IT manager, The NHST Media Group. “Effective communication and collaboration is the lifeblood of our organization, driving the delivery of news and information that keeps us ahead of the competition, and too often communication infrastructures are ignored and remain stuck in the past.”

“Today’s enterprises need a communications platform with the simplicity and flexibility that help employees work the way they want. Fuze’s communications approach reflects the strategic requirements of a digital transformation initiative, with intuitive applications and features, but at a fraction of the cost of purchasing and maintaining on-premise systems,” added Kris Wood, vice president of EMEA, Fuze.
