Eckoh announces that it has won a new $3.7m five-year contract to provide secure payment services to a large US telecommunications provider. The solution, which will be deployed in financial year FY18, uses Eckoh’s patented tokenisation technology to secure card payments being made through the organisation’s contact centre facilities. Eckoh Extends Whitbread Contract for Further Three Years

Eckoh announces that it has extended its contract with Whitbread plc, to provide a range of services for Premier Inn’s contact centre operations. Eckoh has worked with Whitbread, the UK’s largest hotel and restaurant company (“Whitbread”) and Premier Inn since 2010 and the extended contract will run until at least January 2020, taking the overall relationship to more than ten years. Eckoh urges businesses to take contact centre customer data seriously

Eckoh, the global provider of secure payment products and customer contact solutions, was appalled, but not surprised to hear of the recent leak of sensitive audio customer data in the US. While banks and financial institutions privately confirm to Eckoh that contact centre breaches happen regularly, last week’s public disclosure of an audio data leak is worrying.
