3Cinteractive and Interop Technologies Partner to Expand RCS Ecosystem Reach

3Cinteractive (3C), the leading provider of Rich Communication Services (RCS) for mobile marketing, announced an extended partnership with Interop Technologies™ to expand the reach of RCS campaigns for 3C’s enterprise customers into even more RCS-enabled operator networks through Interop’s industry-leading RCS Business Messaging Platform.

Expanding on an existing long-term relationship to power application-to-person (A2P) SMS and MMS campaigns, the two companies will now work together to advance today’s messaging capabilities with RCS.

Already integrated with many major Messaging as a Platform (MaaP) providers, this latest integration will further extend 3C’s industry leading RCS campaign reach by enabling subscribers within Interop’s network of more than 40 operators globally to engage in richer conversations enabled by the powerful capabilities of RCS. Operators launching Interop’s GSMA-accredited RCS solution are able to offer the complete RCS experience to their subscribers through a single cloud-based solution, a private cloud, or a combination of cloud and perpetual license elements.

“We are committed to leading the US market by bringing the transformative messaging experience RCS provides to as many mobile subscribers as possible, and this partnership with Interop allows us to further that mission”, says Mike FitzGibbon, President of 3C. “The Interop team has built a powerful RCS platform and this is only the beginning of what we can do together to capture the value of RCS.”

“Our partnership with 3C has enabled us to further expand the rich content available through our RCS Business Messaging Platform to ensure the highest value and return for our mobile operator customers,” said Josh Wigginton, VP of Product Management at Interop Technologies. “3C is an innovative leader in RCS and we couldn’t be more excited to build upon our longstanding and trusted relationship, broadening the reach of RCS globally.”

A much-anticipated improvement to the current SMS experience, Rich Communication Services (RCS) has been launched by 62 operators in 45 countries and several more are expected to launch in the coming months[1]. With more than 167 million active monthly users worldwide already embracing this new messaging technology, RCS is quickly becoming the global messaging standard.
