Boxever Delivers Customer-Insight-Fuelled Web Optimisation

Boxever, the market-leading personalisation platform, is launching a web optimisation solution that gives marketers direct access to real-time browsing and customer behaviour analytics to inform more relevant online targeting, testing and optimisation.

The product aims to solve many industry challenges, including a lack of access to real-time customer insights. Typically, marketers need to access data from their IT teams, often, this may not be possible, or by the time the data is retrieved is no longer relevant. In the absence of direct access to real-time data, marketers resort to simplistic targeting. Boxever’s solution will empower marketers with real-time customer data allowing them to provide more relevant experiences for their customers.

Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Personalization Engines rates tangible results like conversion, total revenue, average order value (AOV) and ROI as industry success benchmarks. Boxever has been referenced in both Gartner’s 2018 and 2019 Magic Quadrant reports. Its new web optimisation product, as with its full product portfolio is based firmly around these metrics.

Dave O’Flanagan, CEO & Co-Founder, Boxever said: “Marketers have always loved the insights provided by our CDP, and the power of our drag-and-drop decisioning, for Omnichannel Personalisation. But when it came to website optimisation, they wanted more agility. Before, our users needed IT to help connect experiences into the browser, but our web optimisation solution has changed that. Marketers can now directly design and launch insight fuelled experiments and personalisations independently. We are really excited to launch this unique proposition.”

The new solution also provides instant consumer data collection for voice-of-the-customer (VOC), attitudinal and preference capture. This data can be used to further enrich targeted experiments and personalisations.

In December 2019, Boxever commissioned a YouGov consumer survey revealing that 78% are frustrated by untargeted and irrelevant marketing and communication from brands campaigns. Concerningly, the survey also revealed that UK consumers view irrelevant communication as a major turn-off with 67% saying that they would consider shopping elsewhere as a result of receiving poorly personalised communication.

Boxever’s web optimisation is easily enabled onsite with a single line of Javascript, while customer data populates through real-time APIs. The solution aims to provide an out-of-the-box experience and can be operational within a matter of hours and quickly mastered with templates and analytics designed to quickly power advanced CRO and CXO strategies.

Boxever was founded in 2011 and is backed by venture capital firms Polaris, Frontline, as well as Silicon Valley Bank. Recent announcements include a partnership with Norwegian Air.

About Boxever

Boxever is an AI-driven personalisation platform that uses data and AI to help the world’s biggest brands make every customer interaction smarter and deliver game-changing customer experience. We do this in two ways. Firstly, we build rich and accurate profiles of their customers using data from across their business. The result? Personal, relevant and valuable experiences for customers, and improved engagement, acquisition and conversion for the business. Since we started back in 2011 we’ve been helping the likes of Ryanair, Emirates, Viva Air Group and AIB revolutionise how they engage customers. Eight years on, we’re now recognised by Gartner as a leading player in personalisation and ranked by Forbes alongside Google, Apple and Amazon as one of the most powerful examples of AI in use today.
