Playvox announced the acquisition of Trainbox, a learning management software company.

By acquiring Trainbox, Playvox will enhance and improve gamification, interactivity and personalization in the company platform. In doing so, it will make the learning and training apps even more dynamic, effective, and interactive for customer service agents around the world. Playvox will now offer a state-of-the-art learning system.
Although it’s Playvox’s first acquisition, Giraldo said the company is always eyeing ways to enhance the Playvox platform and bring customers the greatest value possible in optimizing agent-centric customer service operations.
Giraldo said that value can come in two forms – organic and through acquisition.
“From the organic standpoint, we are constantly developing new features and functionalities for our platform, and we will continue to do so,” he said. “From the inorganic perspective, this acquisition makes so much sense for us and for our customers. Giraldo is convinced Playvox’s addition of Trainbox will improve the overall training experience for customer service operations teams, beyond the capabilities Playvox offers today – and will bring these innovations to market rapidly.
