Genesys, a global leader in cloud customer experience and contact centre solutions, announced Helen Briggs was appointed as senior vice president and general manager of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Briggs brings to Genesys nearly 20 years of experience expanding sales and leading high performing teams in the IT, contact centre and unified communications industries. As the head of the sales organisation in EMEA, Briggs will draw upon her deep channel background to further expand the company’s new Ascend partner programme announced last week. Her expertise in driving growth and transformation is well suited to help Genesys continue to scale its cloud business in the region, which experienced more than 35% increase in new bookings across EMEA in fiscal year 2021.

Briggs has led all aspects of complex sales, market penetration, customer relationship management and channel development. Previously, Briggs oversaw the cybersecurity division in EMEA for Dell, where she was responsible for significant business growth over the past year. At Dell, Briggs was tasked with migrating existing customers to the cloud and increasing the division’s market share with new business. Prior to Dell, Briggs was the regional sales lead for Avaya UK and held senior roles with Westcon Convergence, Avnet, KComm and Ciscom.
