Focus Group, one of the leading independent providers of essential business technology, is thrilled to announce it has acquired innovative clinical systems integration software ‘Contact Assist’ from Oak Innovation.
This exciting investment supports its ambitious plans for growth in the Primary Care sector through its reseller channel.
The team Focus Group are also viewing the move as a fundamental step towards facilitating further CRM integrations across a comprehensive range of healthcare verticals, leveraging its existing, high performance UC platforms to power the sector with future proof comms technology.
The financial investment in Oak Innovation will enable the business to reinvest in its advanced communication recording platform, Clarify, which, as CEO William Emm stated, “will form the corner stone of our future plans. We have an outstanding relationship with Focus Group, as one of our largest partners and it made complete sense to both parties”
Rhys Bailey, Sales Director for Focus Group expanded upon the move: “Focus Group is the single largest reseller of Oak’s clinical system integration software and the purchase of the software gives us the ability to control the development of the product, while expanding into new vertical markets such as dentistry and veterinary.
Focus Group is already channel focused, currently accounting for 25% of our business, and we’re keen to continue to grow this. We see this investment as a way of strengthening our already significant channel business and look forward to working closely with Contact Assist resellers, while also introducing the full range of channel offerings, such as cyber security, included in our portfolio.”
As a result of the purchase, the reseller community will be excited to hear that Contact Assist will now be available on a monthly recurring purchase model, whilst continued development of the software will ensure it remains at the forefront of clinical system integrations. Furthermore, Focus Group’s position on the front line ensures its team is committed to developing customer-led solutions and to supporting resellers with essential resources.
