Results For The 2020 Edition Of The UK National Innovation Awards® Competition

Directors Club® United Kingdom are delighted to announce the results of the 2020 edition of the UK National Innovation Awards® competition. The live Gala Results Webcast took place on April 21st at 1.30pm BST, presented by Jon Snow, the awards organiser and founder.

Technology innovators from across the world were invited to enter the five categories of this open competition. Only the best were then shortlisted for the finals.

In these challenging times, the all-digital awards delivery model triumphed with little delay, despite the judging week falling at the start of the national lockdown.

This year’s competition has been judged by a record 224 category judges, all of whom are Directors Club® United Kingdom members. The organisers thank them for their time and expertise.

“Congratulations to all the companies that were chosen to contest the five category finals of this global, open competition. All finalists are world-class inventors of solutions that deliver significant business value-add.

“Economic growth, business growth, and our growth as individuals all benefit from the inventions of technology visionaries. The UK National Innovation Awards® recognise and salute the finest.”

Today’s Directors Club® has its origin as a supper club in London’s Mayfair. The Directors’ Dining Club, as it was known, had its home at Claridge’s Hotel and brought together business leaders of the day to discuss trends and disruptive forces for change.

In February 2010, Jon Snow (founder and chairman) re-constituted the dining club as the Directors’ Club and so a business lifestyle and networking institution was born.

In May 2018, a formal three-class membership structure was introduced and in October we were awarded a registered trademark for the term Directors Club.

The Club motto To endeavour. To achieve captures the spirit of the organisation and the ambitions of its members.

Membership is by invitation.
