Russell Attwood, CEO of Route 101 named among UK’s Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2021.
The programme, which is supported by The Times and now in its fourth year, celebrates the inspiring leaders behind some of the UK’s most successful and fast-growing medium-sized firms.
Despite the challenges of the last 18 months, the Top 50 received a record number of nominations; more than 600 proving that ambition is alive and well.
The featured Top 50 hail from every corner of the country and operate across a diverse range of sectors. Collectively, they employ more than 9,500 people and contribute more than £1.2bn to the UK economy.
Route 101 is a leading cloud systems integrator, providing hosted and true cloud solutions to businesses looking to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and empower growth within their customer service centres. A supplier to global organisations including Teleperformance and Shell Energy, Route 101 specialises in the implementation and support of contact centre, customer engagement and unified communications solutions, having built strong relationships with global vendors including NICE, Zendesk and Calabrio. The business is the second Mr Attwood has founded, having successfully built and sold Call Centre Technology (CCT) to Capita in 2011.
