SYKES Named on the Inaugural IAOP Impact Sourcing Champions Index

Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated, a global leader in business process solutions, is one of the newest companies to be added to the prestigious International Association of Outsourcing Providers (IAOP) Impact Sourcing Champions Index. The index, which exists in partnership with the Global Mentorship Initiative, is a curated list of companies that have distinguished themselves as trailblazers in the impact sourcing space.

Impact sourcing, or socially responsible business process outsourcing, is the practice of providing employment opportunities to communities that wouldn’t otherwise be able to access a global marketplace. By offering livable wages and professional development services to those on the bottom tier of the socioeconomic pyramid, companies can make a positive impact on their global communities — all while accessing previously underutilized talent. “Doing well by doing good is now more important than ever,” said Debi Hamill, IAOP’s CEO. “Ensuring that disadvantaged populations have access to formal employment and decent work, allowing them to improve their conditions, acquire a career, and thus lift themselves, their families, and their communities out of poverty, is one of the most sustainable means to economic growth.”

SYKES has been a leader in the impact sourcing space since the 1990s.
