Broadcom to Acquire VMware

Broadcom Inc., a global technology leader that designs, develops and supplies semiconductor and infrastructure software solutions, and VMware, Inc., a leading innovator in enterprise software, announced an agreement under which Broadcom will acquire all of the outstanding shares of VMware in a cash-and-stock transaction that values VMware at approximately $61 billion, based on the closing price of Broadcom common stock on May 25, 2022. Capita wins customer support contract with ScottishPower

Capita announces it has secured a five-year agreement to deliver front-line customer support services for ScottishPower customers across the UK. The customer management contract, worth up to £63m over five years, is due to start in June 2022 and includes broad customer experience support services for Prepayment, Homemover, SME and Direct Debit standard meter customers. Enghouse Interactive has announced a new fixed price offer targeted at SMBs, enabling them to onboard their contact centre agents onto Enghouse’s hosted contact centre as a service (CCaaS) platform in as little as five days. The offer includes 50% off the fixed onboarding fee of £9.000 for companies requiring over 15 users. For companies requiring 30 or more users, the fixed fee is waived.
