The company plans to move into the facility in the first quarter of calendar 2020.
The new high-tech 178,000-square-foot, five floor, single-tenant building provides the necessary business requirements for capacity and expansion as a direct result of the growth that 8×8 has experienced over the past 18 months.
By providing greater capacity in both space and parking, the Creekside location is aligned with 8×8’s corporate strategy to provide high efficiency and modern workspace to foster the company’s rapid growth in the Bay Area and elsewhere. In fact, 8×8 has increased its employee base by 25 percent over the past year, with a significant portion of new hires based in Silicon Valley, leading to a need for more capacity.
In addition to the new Campbell headquarters, the company has plans to open additional offices in San Francisco and the East Bay, and in Minneapolis, Minn. to accommodate growing teams across all departments. These new locations add to an expanding global presence for 8×8, which already has offices in New York City, London and Aylesbury in the U.K., Cluj-Napoca in Romania and Sydney, Australia.

As a final strategic marketing advantage, the 8×8 signage on the building will be seen by more than 50,000 commuters each day.
